High bids expected for A007 SPY, but 3 O will do better

James Bond's ultimate number plate is being sold today - A007 SPY.

The plate is being sold as part of a DVLA Personalised Registrations auction at Wychwood Park, Crewe, Cheshire.

The plate has a reserve of £900, but is expected to fetch considerably more.

However, the star lot is expected ti be registration 3 O, as earlier this year 1 O and 2 O were sold for £210,242 and £142,249 respectively.

The highest amount raised was £352,411 for 1 D, which was bought earlier this year.
