Volkswagen's long-awaited new Sharan may not look exciting, but it shows its real strengths with its seven-seat practicality and 2000-litres of load-space. To all intents and purposes, it's a small van with lots of windows. Here, Matt Prior puts it to the test in the latest quick-fire 90-second video road test.

The VW Sharan has a roomy and versatile seven-seat cabin that feels classy yet hard-wearing. Smile It’s good to drive, and the sliding rear doors are really handy in tight spaces. Smile
