Porsche's 911 Turbo S supercar is tested against Peugeot's diesel RCZ HDi at the Rockingham motor speedway to conduct an economy test with a difference. Just how close on fuel economy will both cars get when driven around the track at the same speed? Here, Mike Duff and Vicky Parrott find out.

Ride quality is less impressive. SadThe RCZ struggles to soak up typical British road surfaces, and suffers from a firm and jarring ride around town, although the car's stiff suspension does keep body roll to a minimum in corners. Smile
