I have to say I think this new Vanquish has just gone to top of my lottery-win list.  Not as brash as the Aventador or F12.

They're finally wringing some top-drawer performance out of that engine.  565 is enough, don't get caught up in the power race Aston!

It seems Aston is one of the few brands where the lack of serious funding actually fits / helps them get away with the typical British restraint shown in the design. Ferrari or Lamborghini couldn't get away with that sort of thing - their buyers would expect the ultimate. Not sure about the choice of car colour though - one for the Middle Eastern buyer perhaps?

On a side note, why the David Attenborough style whispering at the end? It's a little like Matt's scared he might frighten the car off...

Aston wants £190,000 for a 565bhp upgraded DBS. Ferrari F12 has 730bhp, is a new model and costs £240,000.

Aston should have at least given the car 600bhp if they were not starting with a new design. The one-77 produces 750bhp with a 7.3 litre V12 modification of the standard V12.

I wish Aston all the best, but they need a wealthy backer.
