This curvy crossover concept shows that the Cee'd is only the start for Kia

You've got to hand it to Kia. The applause for the impressive new Cee'd hatchback has only just died down, and now it reveals this curvy crossover concept, the Kue, at the Detroit motor show.

Like so many vehicles from Detroit, the Kue packs a V8 petrol engine, in this case a supercharged 4.6-litre unit pumping out 400bhp and 400lb ft. Kia says that while it is capable of going off-road, the Kue is focused on driver enjoyment.

At 4.7m long, the Kue is around the same length as a BMW X5, but with seating strictly for four inside the sculpted cabin, with bucket seats for each occupant.

There's no word on the likelihood of a sporting Kia 4x4 in the near future, but we wouldn't want to bet against it.
