Volkswagen’s new folding hard-top, which will get its first outing in a convertible to slot in between the Golf and the Passat, will be used across the VW Group.The roof technology, first seen on the Concept C show car (above), could be shared with sister brands such as Audi, Seat and Skoda. VW used to rely on Karmann for its convertible roofs, but this one was designed in-house.
