Volvo reveals R-Design spec for new V60 Hybrid; Jaguar to show F-type coupé sculpture at art show; Jensen appoints classic car dealer
24 April 2014

Volvo has introduced an R-Design specification for the V60 Plug-in Hybrid, bringing with it 18-inch wheels, a sporty front bumper and rear diffuser. Inside, sports seats, pedals, mats and headlining feature. Combined power is 276bhp with 472lb ft of torque, but the car still claims 155.2mpg and 48g/km of CO2.

Jaguar will show two art concepts at the Clerkenwell Design Week. One is an illuminated sculpture inspired by the new F-type coupé. The other challenged designers on Jaguar’s social network channels to create a concept demonstrating "fearless design" with the winner chosen at the beginning of next month.

The newly formed Jensen Motors has appointed Slades Buckinghamshire dealership as its first classic car dealer. The firm also confirmed it will take commissions to build "as new" Mk1 Interceptors. Each will be accompanied by 80 bottles of champagne, which can be stored inside the car.

Land Rover has created a bespoke Defender for tailor Cad & the Dandy. Dubbed the ‘Cad Wagon', the model is based on a Defender 110. Custom features include a tailored canvas roof, leather re-trim of the interior and an upgraded stereo.
