Skoda reveals Tour de France special editions, tickets still available for this month's Goodwood Festival of Speed, Fiat customers told not to buy 500e

Skoda is launching special Tour de France limited editions of the Yeti, Skoda Octavia and Skoda Superb. Available in red, white or blue, each will come with unique ‘tour’ logos, waterproof seat covers, bike wheel bags plus a centenary-edition Rouleur Tour de France book. Around 200 examples of each car are available.

Tickets are still available for the Goodwood Festival of Speed, which takes place later this month. Organisers for the event say that although tickets for Saturday 28 June have sold out, customers are still able to buy entry to the event on Friday and Sunday. Fiat-Chrysler boss Sergio Marchionne told a conference in the US that customers "should not" buy the 500e electric car, because the company is losing around £8400 on each one that leaves the showroom. The 500e costs around £19,000 before the tax breaks offered by the US government.
