Kia's Zapp! special editions

Kia has launched this special edition of the Rio - the 'Zapp!'

The price is £7,495, which is £1,000 less than the base GS model, although the car has air conditioning and an MP3-playing CD player.

The Zapp! also comes with a year's free insurance and ABS with electronic brakeforce distribution, but is only available as a 1.4-litre petrol.

The Picanto and Cerato models have also been, as Kia puts it, Zapped. The Picanto costs £5,995 - £300 more than the base model - but with a year's free insurance .

The Cerato lists at £9,995 - £300 less than the base model - with air conditioning and 15-inch alloys.
