Ferrari's 458 Italia has made its UK debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.

The mid-engined, rear-drive V8 supercar has taken part in the morning's Supercar Run and will return to action throughout the weekend.

It is powered by a 4.5-litre direct-injection V8 that produces 562bhp and revs to 9000rpm, making it the highest revving Ferrari road car ever. Power is channeled to the road through a seven-speed twin-clutch gearbox.

Ferrari also has its 2009 Formula One car at the Festival, along with its new 599 GTO and California road cars.
