The best new car deals and new car leasing deals for this week, including offers on the Ford Galaxy, Renault Captur, Volvo XC60, Citroen C1 and Mercedes-Benz E-class
5 September 2014

If you’re in the market for a new car, or after the best new-car leasing deal, you can save thousands of pounds with a little research. Here are the picks of what our deals experts have found this week.

Best new car deals

With a new version of the 7-seat Ford Galaxy MPV in the works, it's no surprise that offers on the current car are looking very appealing at the moment. We spotted an offer from Nationwide Cars, which get you a 1.6-litre EcoBoost Zetec model for £21,016 - a saving of £4648.

Nationwide has an equally appealing offer on the Renault Captur. Competing alongside the likes of the Ford EcoSport and Vauxhall Mokka, the Captur can be had in TCe 90 Energy specification for as little as £11,853 - a saving of almost £2500.

Best new car leasing deals

Competing against the likes of the BMW X3 and Land Rover Freelander, the Volvo XC60 is a comfortable and spacious SUV. We spotted a good deal on the D4 SE model from Fleetprices - getting you the car for £279 per month on a 24 month contract with a initial payment of £1678. There's an annual mileage limit of 10,000.

The latest Citroën C1 might be mechanically identical to its Peugeot 108 and Toyota Aygo siblings, but in our recent city car test it was the C1 which came out on top. A deal from Diamond Contract Hire gets you the 1.0-litre VTi Touch model for £105 per month. That's on a four-year contract, with an initial payment of £634 and an annual mileage limit of 10,000.

Deal of the week

The Mercedes-Benz E-class received some minor upgrades earlier this year, including the option of a nine-speed automatic transmission, more power and lower emissions all through the range. We found an interesting deal from Orange Wheels, which gets you the E220 BlueTec SE model for £27,738 - a massive saving of over £6500 on the list price.
