The BMW Zagato Roadster, teased here, will be among a number of BMW’s shown at this weekend’s Pebble Beach concours d’Elegance. The Zagato Roadster is the second time BMW and Zagato have collaborated on a car.
In May, BMW unveiled the Zagato Coupé at the Villa d’Este Concours in Italy. That model combined BMW’s signature kidney grille and Zagato’s double-bubble roof and Kamm tail. The Zagato Roadster’s styling is expected to closely follow that of the hardtop.
As part of the 40th anniversary celebrations of BMW’s M division, the M8 prototype will make its American debut. The M-tuned version of the 8-series is powered by a 550bhp V12 engine and features modified bodywork.
The 2013 BMW 7-series will have its North American debut, alongside the 540bhp Alpina B7.
