325bhp saloon will take at the Goodwood Festival of Speed

Vauxhall will show off its 325bhp Insignia VXR for the first time in the UK at next weekend’s Goodwood Festival of Speed.

The Vauxhall Insignia VXR has just finished its 10,000km shakedown at the Nurburgring and it will appear twice daily on the festival’s hillclimb.

The 6.2-litre V8-engined VXR8 Bathurst S Edition has also reportedly been commissioned to perform a ‘Smoke Gets in Your Eyes’ display at the event.

Vauxhall will also show off two cars from its heritage collection: the 1966 XVR, which featured gullwing doors, and the 1970 SRV, which had electric self-levelling suspension.
