Jaguar launches the F-type in North America with a show car in Black Pack trim
28 November 2012

The Jaguar F-Type Black Pack has just made its world debut at the LA motor show. This is the first time the new sports car has been seen in America.

Black Pack performance versions feature high gloss 'Firesand' paint and black exterior and interior trim detailing. All other external design features are identical to the standard car.

The F-Type Black Pack shared the Jaguar show stand with the Jaguar XFR-S, the fastest and most powerful saloon Jaguar has ever made.

Our Verdict

Jaguar F-Type Convertible

The Jaguar F-Type convertible provides direct competition to the 718 Boxster and the 911 Cabriolet, but can the big cat take a bite out of its Porsche rivals?

Looks great, especially in black, but would have mine with all the chrome parts available!

Most cars look sooooo much better without 'em.

Is 'high gloss' ie non-metallic black the new black?

It's been a long time coming, but this jaguar I truely lust over!

JLR are on a delightful roll onwards and upwards. Smile
