Renault launches its first model, the Dacia Duster, in Indonesia and promises bespoke models for the market in 2015

Renault will launch in the Indonesian market later this month after signing a deal with distributor Indomobil. The first model to be sold will be the Dacia Duster; the Renault Koleos SUV and Mégane Renaultsport will follow. Renault will also launch tailor-made products for the Indonesian market from 2015.

Alan Mulally, Ford's CEO, has told Bloomberg news that he plans to "continue to serve as Ford’s president and CEO until at least the end of 2014". It had recently been reported that Ford's board had considered letting him leave earlier, in order to 'explore other roles' – potentially including taking over the post of chief executive at Microsoft, following the departure of Steve Balmer.

PSA Peugeot Citroën is reportedly considering selling a stake to the Chinese Dongfeng Motor Corporation. A sale could raise funds for a European expansion and could also lead to the Peugeot family – which currently owns 25.5 per cent of PSA shares – losing control of the company.
