Photo reveals 270Z Roadster ahead of New York show unveiling

Nissan has released a single teaser image of its 370Z Roadster, which will be officially unveiled ahead of the New York motor show tomorrow.

The convertible Nissan 370Z has an electrically powered soft-top rather than a folding hard-top, in order to keep weight down and reduce complexity.

Powered by the same 3.7-litre V6 as the coupe, the Nissan 370Z Roadster puts out 327bhp and 268lb ft of torque.

It is being unveiled in New York alongside a NISMO version of the car, which is expected to be equipped with a new aero package and upgraded suspension and brakes.

All the details from the New York motor show will be available on autocar.co.uk tomorrow.
