Volkswagen has renamed its four-door coupé and dropped the slow-selling 3.6-litre V6 from the facelifted range, to be revealed at the LA motor show next week.
The previous ‘Passat’ tag has been dropped from the car’s official name to create the VW CC, a move that the firm hopes will boost the model’s image.
