Vauzhall's best-selling MPV gets a mid-life update

Vauxhall has updated its popular Zafira MPV with a mid-life refresh that’ll affect all 08-plate models due for the spring.A new mid-range trim level, Exclusiv, has been introduced with air conditioning, a CD player, electric windows, 16-inch wheels and body-coloured bumpers.The rest of the 2008 range will get new chrome detailing around the front end and revised rear-lamp clusters, plus curtain airbags will now be standard. Vauxhall sold 47,817 Zafiras last year, with over a quarter share of the MPV segment.

Supprised at your woes with the SMAX. However, you are right, looks are not everything.

It is, though, about time the Zafira got a face lift. Lets hope they don't go to the same plastic surgeon as Mrs. Beckham!!!

Had 9 months of hassle with SMAX 1.8TDCI Zetec 6sp, think the blind institute assembled it terrible build quality/panel fit and even paint peeling on front bumper, Ford dealers couldnt sort so got shut, just ordered Zafira breeze plus as I have had 2 previous shape ones and can tell you much better built, looks aint everything.
