Special-edition model of G55 AMG launched in Middle East, the world's largest market for G55s

Mercedes has unveiled this special edition G55 AMG at the Qatar motor show.

The Mercedes G-Class Arabia 100 Limited Edition 2011 is designed specifically for the Middle East region, a market that is the fourth largest for G-class sales worldwide and the largest for sales of the G55 AMG.

Just 100 units of the special edition will be made. Each will be offered in one of two special exterior colours: Cashmere White and Nightblack. The exterior of the car also gets special matt-finish 19-inch AMG alloys.

Inside, there is a two-tone black and porcelain leather interior with carbonfibre and champagne white Designo piano lacquer wood trim. A special rear entertainment system is also included.
