We drive the most important model in Jaguar's history

We all know how great the XF looks. We've seen it in action at the hands of Mike Cross, we've talked to designer Ian Callum about the car's looks, and we all know just how important this model is for the future of the brand. All that's left is to drive it, which is what we've been doing all this week. We can't reveal the full details yet, but we can tell you that it's been worth the wait. And that's what you'll have to do until tomorrow, when Autocar's first drive of the Jaguar XF will go live. Come back then to find out if the XF really is as good to drive, as it is to look at.

Re: Driven: Jaguar XF

To say this car is crucial for Jaguar could be the most underestimates statement in motoring for years. The credentials look good and if the XF isn't the best car in its class i will be surprised. This car should theoretically at least have the handling of a 5-Series and ride of an E-Class to have the best chassis - the S-Type did. But the XF should also have other qualities to obliterate the Bimmer, Merc and every other rival.
