Customised Mini celebrates 40th anniversary of BTCC win

A special edition Mini Equipe is being launched to celebrate the 40th anniversary of its British Touring Car Championship victory.

Custom house Arden, best known for its Jaguar and Land Rover conversions, has created the car from the Mini Cooper S to celebrate an Arden Mini Cooper S's BTCC title forty years ago.

The car includes custom two-tone leather upholstery, handmade stainless steel and chrome details, special 18-inch alloys and a bespoke grille.

The ECU has also been upgraded to work with a new intercooler and full stainless steel exhaust system, complete with racing catalytic converters. The upgrade adds 40bhp and 37lb ft of torque.

Arden sport suspension and 30mm lowering springs have been fitted and six-piston brakes are included.

Just 40 Mini Arden's will be made. No prices have been released.
