Italian marque "is now in a position to fund its own future", says Stellantis CEO

Alfa Romeo is “safe” and its future secured for at least the next 10 years.

That’s according to Stellantis boss Carlos Tavares, who said Alfa Romeo was already profitable under Stellantis ownership and it was set to post record financial figures this year.

I have a 2021 Lexus LS500 that has been in for warranty 5 times in 8k miles - I think covid assembly quality will keep the auto repair business busy for years to come...

God that's such an old attitude! Alfas went through a bad patch some time ago, like most brands do.  Just check the press - Alfas have been having a consistently high user score for several years now. My BMW, lovely as it was has been in and out of the garage ever since I got it 3 years ago.
