Alfa is the first maker to follow Hyundai’s lead by offering a five-year warranty, but only on new 147s and 156s bought before the end of March.The topped-up five-year Alfacare Plus covers you for all major mechanicals over the period or for up to 60,000 miles. Also included in the package is full AA roadside assistance.Alfa claims that, at the moment, the five-year warranty is strictly a limited-period offer, but it’s not ruling out making the warranty a permanent fixture. ‘It’s under consideration,’ said a spokesman.
