image574274062.jpgThe whole team is now in Madeira preparing for the start of the rally on Thursday.Kris and Paul have now finished writing their pace notes, the technicians are finishing their checks on the car and our focus is now on getting ready for tomorrow's shake down. This will give us the first indications of the speed of the other drivers and make sure the car is OK for the super special stage tomorrow evening. The super special stage is based on the roads around the port of Funchal so should be really exciting. The weather here in Madeira is hot and sunny unlike the UK we left this morning.Tomorrow kicks off for us with admin checks and then technical checks of the car between 7:30 and 10:30. Then it is striaght into the shakedown which goes onto 14:30.Then we have a break before we have the start of the rally press conference. After this it is the ceremonial start and the real start of the rally the super special stage. There is only the one stage tomorrow night.Friday will see us tackle 12 stages then 8 more on Saturday before the end of the rally. Now it's time to find the hotel and get something to eat before what I am sure will be another busy and exciting rally.
