Ferrari has unveiled stop-start technology on its California model for the first time at the Paris motor show.
The stop-start tech is part of the HELE (High Emotion Low Emissions) system and restarts the car in just 230 milliseconds.

HELE uses a series of technologies which cut emissions by 23 per cent to 299g/km of CO2 (urban cycle) compared to that emitted by the California at launch.
The 2+2 hardtop convertible now has a combined cycle figure of 270g/km – a reduction of eight per cent – which Ferrari claims represents best in class.
Customers can now choose two-tone finishes or three-layer paint technology alongside the standard 16 exterior colours.
There is also a wider choice of leather finishes, including water-repellent leather.
