Land Rover is lining up a new Range Rover special edition for the British motor show later this month. The TDV8 Autobiography will be swathed in more leather than any other Range Rover before, with hide being used to cover everything from the dashboard and seats to the door bins, centre console and door casings. Even the floor mats are edged in leather. A hybrid television and sat-nav system will also be standard, along with 20-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. The Autobiography might be “the most complete luxury 4x4” according to Land Rover UK’s managing director, John Edwards, but it doesn’t come cheap. It will set you back £16,995 more than the entry-level Range Rover TDV8, with prices starting from £72,995.
