Modified Jaguar XFR sets new company speed record

Jaguar has set a new company speed record with a modified XFR, hitting 225.68mph at Bonneville Speed Flats.

The car, driven by speed ace Paul Gentilozzi, had a remapped ECU and supercharger mods, taking power to 600bhp. It was also fitted with a larger rear wing to aid aerodynamics.

Jaguar's previous speed record was held by the XJ220 supercar.
