With the keys to two of 2018’s more exciting hot hatchbacks and an empty Blyton Park racetrack, Matt Prior and Dan Prosser find out which is best: the Renault Megane RS 280 or Hyundai i30 N.
The Megane has slightly more power and, in Cup spec as driven here, comes with tuned suspension and a limited slip differential. The i30 N, tested in standard form instead of with the optional performance pack, lacks a diff - but is arguably the more pliant of the two on the road.
