Tweaks, including more personalisation options, bump up price slightly, before model is overhauled next year

The mildly updated Nissan Juke is now on sale from £15,505 — an increase of £310 over the pre-facelift car. The Nissan baby crossover was revealed at the Geneva motor show earlier this year, but is due for replacement in 2019

Updates have been made to the car’s interior, with exterior styling largely unchanged aside from the addition of two paint colours and new alloy wheel designs.

A new Bose sound system is now available and has its own spec level, known as Bose Personal Edition. This system includes speakers built into the driver’s seat and head rest, in addition to six other speakers around the interior.

An orange or a blue theme across the interior adds flashes of colour to the seats, door inserts and dashboard trim pieces. Nissan also claims to have improved the Juke’s trip computer and upgraded the steering wheel leather.

The next Juke is expected to arrive next year, with a radical new look and 0.9-litre three-cylinder and 1.2-litre four-cylinder turbocharged engines, along with a 1.5-litre diesel.

A key model in the Japanese brand’s line-up since its introduction in 2011, Juke sales exceeded 100,000 units in four different years. The Juke is built at Nissan’s Sunderland plant, which will also handle the second-generation model.
