Ever considered sneaking through rise-and-fall bollards after the bus has already passed? Then think again.
New footage shows what happens when the bollards fight back. They're designed to allow Metroshuttle buses to pass while still sealing off a road that's heavily used by pedestrians. But as the video clip shows, the metal pylons show no mercy to motorists who try to take advantage of the temporary shortcut. First, a baby Toyota comes off second-best. Then an SUV has an airbag-inducing impact. And finally, a van loses out badly while following the postman...
