McLaren F1 star Lewis Hamilton says the rival Red Bull team has a car that is "ridiculously faster than anyone else’s."
Describing Red Bull's advantage as "insane", Hamilton added: " "Even at the end of the year they had so much more than us, even though we had won a couple of grands prix. They have got the fastest car by quite a big step. They should be quite a lot further ahead in general."
Hamilton also said that, although Fernando Alonso’s Ferrari was able to pressure the Red Bull, it was no match for it in terms of outright speed.
"Fernando I think was very quick in the race and they are obviously a little bit closer, but it's a good half second [deficit]," said Hamilton.
Hamilton added that he thought McLaren and Mercedes were best of the rest.
"We are kind of on the same level as Mercedes I would say," Hamilton said. "We just did maybe a better job at the weekend but it's a battle between us and Mercedes to see who can step up and improve faster and do a better job."

Re: Lewis: Red Bull gap 'ridiculous'
I did n't know F1 was still going.
Re: Lewis: Red Bull gap 'ridiculous'
its the best engineers that win motorsport. from f1 to wrc to le mans. driving ability is a distant second. followed by marketing nonsense. cause most people fuel up at tesco's and buy the cheapest tyres.
