Nissan introduces Note 'Acenta Red' edition with red and black cabin

As of 1 September 2007 Nissan will be renaming the trim levels of it Note midi-MPV; they'll be called the Visia, Acenta and Tekna, (instead of S, SE and SVE) and there will be a new range-topping model called the Acenta R.The 'R' stands for red, so it's no surprise that the car comes in bright red (Emotion Red if you ask a Nissan dealer), with unique red and black upholstery inside. If that all sounds a bit too primary coloured, the Acenta R can also be had in metallic black.Tekna 16-inch alloys and rear privacy glass come included, making the extra £500 over the standard Nissan Note Acenta seem reasonable. As the Acenta R is a permanent addition to the line-up, all the engines currently used in the Note will be available, getting you the base 1.4-litre for £11,840, the 1.6-litre for £12,640 and the range topping 1.5dCi for £12,940.
