So which car am I most looking forward to seeing unveiled at the Geneva motor show press day tomorrow?
Well, very high on my list is the Infiniti Emerg-e concept. However, it's not strictly the car I'm looking forward to - I've been fortunate enough to have had a sneak preview - but the reaction to it.
As far as specifics are concerned, I'm sworn to secrecy so as not to spoil the shock and awe of Infiniti's unveiling tomorrow, but what I can say is that the car looks even better in the flesh than it does in any of the photos that have leaked out so far.
Another key bit of information we already know is that it's a range extender hybrid. Infiniti isn't alone in exploring electric technology for sports cars, but with the might of Nissan behind it, the manufacturer should have access to all the know-how it needs to harness the complex electric systems effectively and efficiently.
I'm a big fan of the concept in its static form (but less so the name) so I'm intrigued to see what the rest of the world's media think, as well as the thousands of punters who'll view the Emerg-e on Infiniti's Geneva stand over the next couple of weeks.
A couple of posers that I've been mulling: Does quiet and clean electric technology run contrary to the traditional sportscar ethos of loud, visceral in-your-face power? Could a sleek, silent machine ever raise the hairs on the back of your neck in the same way as a howling V12, just on looks and speed alone?
