The DSA has admitted it accidentally overcharged people who took their driving test on Saturdays

The Driving Standards Agency (DSA) has admitted that it overcharged around 270,000 learner drivers who have taken their tests on Saturdays since November 2005.The refund of £10.50 is being made after it was discovered the regulations that increased fees for Saturday tests was incorrectly worded. These have now been redrafted and Saturday tests booked from the 7 July onwards will be charged at the intended rate of £67.00 - £10.50 more than tests taken during office hours.The DSA is trying to contact all those effected by the mistakes, but those who think they are entitled to a research can call the Agency direct on 0191 201 4098.
