It's coupé - coopay, not coop! We're not yanks.

Have to agree on the mispronunciation of the word coupé, it's a little bit annoying. I don't think anyone would be put out with the conclusion of this review. Both superb cars but I think we all knew the Cayman would come out on top. What I think is even more encouraging is the fact the F-Type was able the run the Porsche so close in every department. I personally would have the Jag every day of the week simply because I really like the GTS, but I love the F-Type! So what is the best road car Porsche make these days, the Cayman GTS or the 911?

Would be interesting to see the relaunched GT3, against the GTS, which would be better in that comparison. Must confess that I would be hard pressed to not choose the f type (only however, if it was the coupe). They are growing on me. Yet a new F type, or a used Aston vantage......hmmmm the Aston would get my vote. Lovely and newer though the F type is, the Aston is an Aston.

Watching again, and listening to Sutters, why is the Jag so heavy in comparison? Is this not an aluminium structure, yet it's weight will always count against it in comparison with the Cayman.

a motoring magazine put the F type on a weigh bridge to settle this argument. The question about the weight of the F type is getting annoying

Hydrogen cars just went POP

We have weighed an F-type Coupe V6S - it was 1755kgs vs a claimed weight of 1594kgs

18 September 2014
So where is that weight coming from then?

18 September 2014
....that the Porsche is a superior machine, but I still like the look of the Jag better.

18 September 2014
No, not really, the Cayman scores better on every comparable fact, what swings it for me is ,i like the shape of the Cayman, the Jaguar, well,it's that Carbon Roof,if it was body colored it would look better,to a certain extent the Jag has a nicer interior, but that's not what you buy one for,you buy it for the driving experience.

Peter Cavellini.

It is hard to see why you'd buy a 911 over a Cayman, certainly if you were going to use it every day. That said, I love the F type.
