The JCB Fastrac is officially the world's fastest tractor. In 2019, with lorry mechanic, motorbike racer and general speed addict Guy Martin at the wheel, it set a new Guinness World Speed Record for modified tractors of 135.151mph, with a peak speed of 153.7mph.

It was also the subject of last year's Autocar Christmas Road Test, where we brought you a full review and technical walkaround of this amazing 1000bhp machine.

Now, we've been behind the scenes to see how JCB's technicians and engineers put this remarkable machine together at the company's Staffordshire factory, with this timelapse video following the full build process.
