Infiniti has revealed a special edition FX, which will be limited to just 100 units across Western Europe.

The Infiniti FX Limited Edition can be based on either the FX37S or FX50S model. It comes with self-healing Black Obsidian paint as standard and Moonlight White pearl metallic is an option.

Specially commissioned 21-inch alloys also feature and are finished in graphite. The same finish is applied to the front grille, side air vents and roof rails.

Interior features include Graphite leather seats and an Alcantara headlining. Leather has also been used on the dashboard and door linings, while carbonfibre is used on both the dashboard and centre console.

Prices start at £55,855 for the 316bhp V6 FX37S and £62,035 for the 385bhp V8 FX50S. Just 18 of the 100 cars have been earmarked for the UK.

Oh dear! Limited editions already? Be interesting to see January's figures, to see if they've improved on the 4 registrations (sales?) recorded in December.

Will probably suit X6 owners looking for something less subtle ;o)

I always think when a car company introduces a limited edition so soon that they have no confidence in their product, i mean fancy paintwork and stupily over sized wheels is real jackdaw material, ie, make it shiny enough and somebody will buy it!, personally i think their scared of the market this must sell against.

£62,035 for an FX 50!
