15 April 2010

General Motors has released the first official pictures of the new Chevrolet Camaro Convertible through its official Facebook page.

Two pictures of the car, which will come in with V6 and V8 petrol engine options, have been released, taken from the front and the rear.

The car itself is not scheduled to go into production until early 2011 at the Oshawa assembly plant in Ontario, Canada.

The car was originally scheduled to be in US showrooms this year, but in March 2009 GM announced that it would suspend work on further variants of the Camaro to cut costs.
