The 562bhp supercar gets McLaren Special Operations treatment for a £22,950 premium

McLaren has launched a more exclusive version of its 570GT called the MSO Black Collection, which gets more standard kit and bespoke features from the McLaren Special Operations (MSO) division.

Due in just 100 examples, it features MSO's titanium exhaust that is 5kg lighter and less restrictive than the standard system. The car also gets McLaren's Sport Pack suspension as standard for sharpened handling.

Inside, there are black semi-aniline leather (a more durable leather material) seats with Alcantara sections and a black Alcantara-wrapped wheel. The exterior is finished in a black paint that’s bespoke to MSO, while the key is also finished in a matching shade.

No changes have been made to the 570GT’s powertrain, so it sticks with the Woking car maker's twin-turbocharged 3.8-litre V8 engine, providing the rear wheels with up to 562bhp and 443lb ft of torque via a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox.

McLaren design boss Rob Melville said of the new variant: “Black is a colour associated with elegance, power and authority whilst also surrounded by a certain air of mystery. The end result remains true to the luxurious nature of the 570GT but we managed to further amplify its sleek, sporty character with a wealth of new MSO Defined options which I am sure will delight discerning owners.”

Prices for the 570GT MSO Black Collection start at £179,950 – £22,950 more than the standard car. First deliveries are due in the summer.

I suppose there are repeat buyers or collectors, and, if you fancy a go in one, there’s a few to try at track days..

I'm a Web Designer in one of the famous Web Design Company Kerala. I am thinking about to buy a new car. I like the color and features of McLaren 570GT MSO Black. It's really mind-blowing.

You know, for all the big numbers n'all, I just can't get excited about this...it's just a bit too Playstation.

I'm only responsible for what I say, not what you understand...
