Meet the revised SLK 55 AMG. No really, there is a difference

Having revised the standard SLK range for 2008, Mercedes has just released images of its freshly facelifted SLK 55 AMG.The 355bhphp, V8 roadster has received a new front apron and tinted headlamps. And that's it for the external tweaks. However, Mercedes has also uprated the car's steering, which now features 'variable servo assistance' and newly designed steering rack. This gives the car less turn lock to lock – only 2.16 turns of the wheel – which is claimed to make the AMG roadster 'more responsive and agile'.There is also a new steering wheel, and revised graphics to make the instruments easier to read, plus more revisions to the infotainment system.
