Aston Martin has inadvertently confirmed that the Aston Martin V12 Zagato will make production.

According to Aston Martin’s website, “Only a strictly limited run of road going cars will be built.” The website also lists the Zagato in its model line-up.

The new car made its debut appearance in concept form at the Villa D’Este Concours on May 21, an event it won.

More recently, the racing version of the Aston Zagato took part in the Nurburgring 24-hour endurance race.

When Autocar spoke to Aston Martin, however, the firm was quick to deny production plans. But an Aston spokesman did say “we’ll be sending out an official press release within a couple of weeks.”
