Goodwood drive for Hakkinen
24 May 2006

DTM driver and Former F1 World Champion Mika Hakkinen will be at this year's Goodwood Festival of Speed, to be held on 7-9 July, driving a range of Mercedes racing cars.

Hakkinen will be in fine company - six other F1 World Champions are already confirmed for the event: Nigel Mansell, Jack Brabham, Jackie Stewart, Damon Hill, Alan Jones and John Surtees.

This year's Festival will be a real Who's Who of motorsport, with rally drivers including Colin McRae, Hannu Mikkola, Petter Solberg and Stig Blomqvist, touring car racers including Andy Priaulx, Matt Neal and Gary Paffett, and sports car heroes such as Stirling Moss, Jochen Mass, Jacky Ickx, Derek Bell and Martin Brundle all in attendance.

Expect the list of cars to be just as impressive. As last year, entrance is by advance ticket only, with prices for adults starting at £22.
