Maserati reveals most exclusive Quattroporte yet

This is the Quattroporte 'Collezione Cento' – the most luxurious incarnation of Maserati's executive saloon. Only 100 examples will be made, all of which will come with the unique ivory paintwork and polished 20-inch wheels seen on the show car at Detroit today. As well as the exterior extras, there is a full Maserati Multimedia centre housed in the rear armrest, concsisting of USB port, iPod docking station, aux-in socket and SIM card point. There is also an inbuilt keyboard, which can be used to browse the web on the two 10.4-inch screens that are fitted to the rear of the front seats. Naturally, a CD and DVD player also comes as standard. In keeping with the 'comfort' theme, the 'Collezione Cento' Quattroporte will feed power from the 400bhp, 4.2-litre V8 engine through Maserati's automatic gearbox. No official prices have been announced, but the Quattroporte Executive GT that currently tops the range costs £86,000 so expect this limited edition to fetch closer to a six-figure price tag.
