A special edition of the new Audi A8 to go into limited production, while Honda shows its re-designed personal mobility concept

Jaguar has topped the JD Power survey for luxury brands in the US. The acheivement comes months after the brand came first in the same survey here in the UK. The results were based on responses from over 29,000 buyers who bought cars in the US in April and May this year.

Honda will reveal a new generation of its Uni-Cub personal mobility concept at the Tokyo motor show later this month. The original Uni-Cub, first seen last year, has been re-designed to become a near-production ready concept in the form of the Uni-Cub β. The model weighs 25kg and is powered by an electric motor, giving it a travelling range of three miles and a top speed of 3mph.

Audi has unveiled a special edition of the new A8. The A8 W12 Exclusive concept comes with a 671bhp engine and will be sold from March next year in a strictly limited run of 50 units. The car features an interior designed by Poltrana Frau, and includes bespoke leather designs and new interior trim. Audi is currently considering whether or not to sell the new model in the UK.

Ssangyong is enhancing its winter sales pitch by fitting its Ssangyong Korando and Rexton W models with mud and snow tyres. The manufacturer says using the right tyres in winter are proven to be an advantage to handling and performance, and its rubber is developed specifically for crossover and SUV vehicles.

M+S Tires

Nice idea but as there is no testing or regulation behind the stamping, you can put it on summer tires too for all it is worth. If you want to get out in the winter, get winter tires! All proper winter tires have M+S and a snowflake marking. The snowflake being the key one
