It wasn't just GM showing off the fruits of British design talent at Detroit last week. Brit designer David Woodhouse, a former Autocar Designer of the Year, created the Lincoln Aviator concept at Ford’s new concept studio in Irvine, California, run by Aston Martin design boss Henrik Fisker.A thinly disguised production car pitched more for on-road than off-road use, it goes on sale in late 2005, to battle the BMW X3 and US-only Infiniti FX35.
