The best new car deals and new car leasing deals for this week, including offers on the VW Jetta, Peugeot 308 SW, Audi TT, Citroën C1 and Renault Megane

If you’re in the market for a new car, or after the best new-car leasing deal, you can save thousands of pounds with a little research. Here are the picks of what our deals experts have found this week.

Best new car deals

With order books for the revised Volkswagen Jetta due to open soon, it's no surprise that low offers on the current car are looking very appealing. We found a deal from Car Cost, getting you a 1.4-litre TSI SE model for £16,296, representing a satisfying saving of £4,379 over the list price.

The Peugeot 308 SW is a worthy contender in the family estate class, as well as winning the European Car of the Year honours for 2014. We found a deal from New Car Discount for the e-THP 130 model for £18,187, saving you a total of £5,040.

Best new car leasing deals

Being a great drivers car as well as something of a style icon, the Audi TT continues to appeal, plus prices are good at the moment in preperation for order books opening for the all-new car next month. We spotted a deal from Square1 Leasing, getting you the 1.8-litre TFSI Sport model for £325 per month over a four year contract. There's also an initial payment of £594 and an annual mileage limit of 10,000.

We found the new Citroën C1 to be a well-equipped and surprisingly fast urban hatchback when we tested it last month. We spotted a deal from Central UK Vehicle Leasing, which provided a cost of £65.99 per month over a two year contract for a 1.0-litre VTi Touch model. There’s an initial payment of £1,199.99 and a mileage limit of 8000.

Deal of the week

The Renault Megane Limited was launched just last month, and comes loaded with equipment including rear parking sensors, a panoramic sunroof, new upholstery inside and extra badging. We found a 1.5-litre dCi model equipped with Renault's EDC transmission going for £14,719 on Orangewheels, a saving of over £6000 on the list price.
