image551644377.jpgWith 3 stages completed Kris and Paul are second behind Freddy Loix.It has been an action packed start to the rally with local driver Duval crashing out on the first corner of the first stage.Speaking to Kris at the end of stage 1 he expressed surprise at seeing Duval off in the stage. After this he said he backed off alittle but still set the fastest time on stage 1.Both Freddy and Kris had clean runs through the stage, but team mate Nicolas Vouilloz left the stage with the front missing of his car and lost over 2 minutes.Stage 2 saw Loix set the fastest time and Kris drop to second a position he has remained in after stage 3.The cars are now heading back to Service in Ypres. Guy Wilks will be pleased to be heading back to service as he is complaining of high water and oil temperatures on the Proton. The other new S2000 car the Opel Corsa is out with engine problems. However, first blood to Kris as Guy slips down the order and trails Kris by nearly a minute after only 3 stages. The cars will start their second run through the stages in less than an hour. The sun is starting to go down but the rain continues to stay away.
