When you think...

...of the great explorers when asked about why they took on their daring achievements many said 'because we can'. Paraphrasing a little but when I don't get the same feeling when thinking about performance SUVs, any of them. All jolly good fun but why would you want to? 'Because we can' seems a little pointless in this arena.

/p>Need a big, plush, refined SUV without being spat at? New Volvo XC90. Need to go down a road quickly? Name many and varied new sports cars with your choice of badge. I just don't get why you'd need, or want, to combine the two. Would I like to have a go in a Cayenne Turbo - or any performance SUV - just to see what it could do? Yeah, probably. But own one..?? Nope.

@6th.rep

Agree. The rrs still looks a bit of a hoody, especially from the back. And the SVR takes that a step further, it comes with a baseball cap behind the driver's sun visor.

Tarmac ripping good.

Let's settle this once and for all. We need the RRS SVR and Porsche Cayenne Turbo at the Thorpe of Brunting asap. Fight!!
