Aston Martin’s V12 Vantage is set to be launched in the US, according to its CEO Ulrich Bez.
In an interview in the US, Bez confirmed US homologation was well underway on the V12 Vantage to ensure some of the 1000 units produced will head stateside.
Bez also confirmed that work was progressing on the Toyota iQ-based Cygnet, and it should be launched at a motor show early in 2010.
Despite reports claiming the Lagonda brand was on indefinite hold, Bez said work on the luxury SUV was still being undertaken ready for a market launch in the next few years.
Bez also said the British marquee hoped to sell around 2000 units a year of its Rapide four-door saloon, while 50 units of the £1million One-77 supercar have also been sold according to Bez.
