A black mesh grille is highlighted by a Noble bezel and black surround. Bonnet badges and the tailgate finisher are in silver and the rear ‘Sport’ badge is finished in red. On the fender vents, a bright Salsa red logo bar is set against a black grille with a silver surround. The 20in, 5-split spoke, diamond turned alloys are unique to this edition.

The interior is finished in ‘HSE Ebony’ and there’s a choice of four seat trim styles. Seat inserts can be chosen in Pimento Red, Cirrus, Lunar Grey or Ebony with contrast stitching. Seats have the Sport logo embossed on the headrest, and the logo is also embroidered into the floor mats.

The Range Rover Sport HSE Red is driven by the 255bhp, 3.0-litre SDV6 diesel engine combined with an eight-speed ZF automatic gearbox.

The Range Rover Sport HSE Luxury features its own bespoke 20in five-spoke alloy wheels, an extended leather pack, heated steering wheel, contrast stitching and an 825-watt Harmon Kardon LOGIC 7 surround sound audio system with 17 speakers.

Both special editions go on sale in the UK from June 2012 with prices starting from £58,020.

Re: New York: Special Range Rovers

I was just in NY this weekend. It was before the show but there were events running here & there, saw lines of Jags & Range Rovers around the city.

Stumbled across this impromptu Land Rover off-road event on a converted empty corner plot in Chelsea..
